At Darkroomers, we believe photography is more fun when shared. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience behind the lens, you’ll find a welcoming community of fellow photographers here.

We open our doors to the public, but membership is your ticket to the full experience—competitions, workshops, photo outings, print critiques, and more!

Becoming a Member is Easy

1. Fill out a membership application.

2. Bring it to one of our meetings.

3. Pay your dues ($55/year).

4. Sign your name agreeing to our Bylaws.

That’s it—you’re in!

As a member, you’ll enjoy:

• Access to the Photographic Arts Building

• Entry into all competitions, including Critique Nights

• Opportunities to exhibit your work in our gallery

• Access to workshops and events hosted by SCACC member clubs

A Community That Works Together

Darkroomers is a non-profit, run entirely by its members. That means we all pitch in to keep things running smoothly. As a member, you’ll be asked to:

• Help host or co-host our open houses and public events (3–4 times per year)

• Join a cleaning crew a couple of times each year

• Bring snacks to share at meetings (because good food makes everything better!)

• Lend a hand to officers and chairpersons when needed

You’ll also have a voice in shaping our future by voting on club business, changes, and updates.
