Our 5th Wednesday meetings are gallery hanging and social meetings. Hob-knob with some of the area’s experts in amateur photography and enjoy delicious Hors d’oeuvres !
Join us for our Quarterly Image Competition.
The Quarterly Image Competition is a special event for Darkroomers. Guests can come and vote on images but only members can submit images. The competition is theme based and the theme is identified at the beginning of the quarter. The meetings are a social event with Hors d’oeuvres and drinks being served. Members and guests can walk around and take in the images and vote on the ones they like.

Join us for our Monthly Critique Night. Members bring in prints for critique. Those prints accepted by the Judge will hang for up to 2 months in our member gallery.
Our Judge for December is the Chair for the Southern California section of PSA and former president of the Southern California Council of Camera Clubs, Joanne Stolte

Join us for our First meeting of the Year and Print Submission Night. Our first meeting of the year is a get to know the new officers of the club, let them talk about the year’s agenda and the night in which we submit our prints for the 2017 year end competition.
Join us for our Year End competition. Refreshments are provided and is open to the public.
9am Cleaning starts. (Donuts will be provided for the crew) bring your own coffee
11:30am Lunch reception (Sandwiches will be provided)
12 Noon Competition begins

Join Darkroomers for a night of fun and festivities as we honor photographers from the club’s Year End and Quarterly Competitions.
The Handlery Hotel San Diego welcomes us with Chicken Piccata, Southwest Tri-Tip or Vegan Entrees followed by Tiramisu and Mascarpone Cheese.
Door prizes, laughter and a cash bar finish the night.

Street Photography with Dana Levine
Dana studied art history and chemistry in school and spent her professional career as a scientist and educator. After moving to San Diego she took up photography and exhibited her work at Emory University in Atlanta and Scripps.
